Onboarding & Compliance

At TalentHawk we pride ourselves on our high levels of integrity and legal compliance. Our dedicated onboarding team is responsible for the key operational imperatives to ensure both TalentHawk and our candidates meet our legal and ethical obligations.

Headed by our dedicated Compliance Manager, Chris Rockingham, the team conducts all background checks for both contract and permanent candidates. These include but are not limited to: Right to work verification, employment referencing, address confirmation, credit checks, DBS/CRB and limited company status. Chris and his team ensure that these checks are conducted as efficiently and quickly as possible to meet client deadlines, and candidate expectations.

In addition to the On-boarding checks, the compliance team also raises contracts for both clients and contractors in accordance with industry regulations and best practice as directed by the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo). Contractors are keen to ensure that their contracts are IR35 compliant and so the team works closely with our clients and candidates to ensure all contractual matters are successfully addressed.
